Endurance Gold Corporation (TSXV: EDG ) (OTC Pink: ENDGF) (FSE: 3EG) discovered high-grade gold intersections at its Reliance Gold Project in British Columbia.
The company said that it has completed drilling 11 holes for over 3,030 meters of its ongoing 15,000 meter program at its Diplomat, Imperial and Eagle Zones.
The drilling results showcased several significant findings. One of the drill holes, DDH23-066, was drilled at a -45-degree angle and yielded three noteworthy intersections from the Imperial Zone. At a depth of 306.5 meters, there was an intersection of 17.28 grams of gold per tonne (g/pt) over 4.2 meters, including 35.2 gpt gold over 1.3 meters.
This particular intersection represents a step-out towards the northwest of 115 meters from the previous DDH23-065 intersection, which had reported 8.98 g/pt gold over 9.3 meters in a release on June 26, 2023. It is also a step-out of 60 meters from the DDH21-011 intersection, which had indicated 2.1 g/pt gold over 24.9 meters in a release on December 9, 2021.
Additionally, there were additional intersections in DDH23-066. At a depth of 312.45 meters, an intersection of 2.26 g/pt gold over 9.7 meters was observed, including 15.6 g/pt gold over 0.8 meters and 6.48 g/pt gold over 0.7 meters. Another intersection at a depth of 384.69 meters exhibited 4.86 g/pt gold over 2.3 meters, including 18.25 g/pt gold over 0.4 meters.
The diamond drill hole of DDH23-066 also marked the deepest exploration so far, reaching 290 meters below the surface. This depth suggests the potential for further discoveries at greater depths.

Mineralized interval extends over 80 meters in true width
The mineralized interval, characterized by alterations and mineralization, extended approximately 80 meters in true width. This finding indicates that the gold mineralized system holds promise for expansion not only at depth but also along the strike.
“We are pleased to see the strong grade and width of the gold mineralizing system at the Imperial Zone continue with significant step outs at depth to the northwest where it is open to expansion,” said Robert T. Boyd CEO of Endurance Gold.
Boyd said that the four drill holes in the Eagle Zone have successfully encountered eighteen expected mineralized sections, with widths ranging up to 7.7 meters. This implies that all of the drill holes conducted in 2023 thus far have intersected sections featuring cataclastite breccia, coxcomb quartz, arsenopyrite, and stibnite, which are known to be associated with gold mineralization.
Regarding the Imperial Zone, the wider and higher-grade intersections now suggest a northwest trending plunge. This new interpretation adds valuable insights into the geological understanding of the zone.
While the results from four drill holes at the Eagle Zone and one at the Crown Target Area have been completed, the assay results for these holes are still pending and further information is yet to be revealed.
Shares of Endurance Gold rose 2 per cent to $0.26 on Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.

British Columbia offers more than just gold
Beyond gold, British Columbia is known for multiple different mineral resources. The most common are silver, copper, lead and zinc, but there’s also a market for rare earth elements.
NevGold Corp (TSXV: NAU) (OTC: NAUFF) established a subsidiary specifically dedicated to advancing its Ptarmigan project in the southeastern region of British Columbia, Canada after it found high-grade silver mineralization.
NevGold uncovered silver grades of up to 3,188 g/t over 140-meters. These samples also exhibited 0.2 per cent copper, 4.6 per cent lead and 1.4 per cent zinc content.
Defense Metals Corp (TSXV: DEFN) (OTCQB: DFMTF) (FSE:35D) completed phase 2 hydrometallurgical pilot plant testwork for its Wicheeda rare earth element (REE) project, and has started working towards it prefeasibility study work.
According to John Goode, Defense Metals’ metallurgical consultant, the recent completion of beneficiation testwork, hydrometallurgical testwork, and pilot plant operations has positioned them to supply their engineering consultants with the required metallurgical test data.
This data is crucial for initiating the design phase of the prefeasibility study for the Wicheeda project.
