A public health solutions and information technology firm has recently announced the debut of a new company service division dedicated to offering cannabis testing in conjunction with compliance and regulatory support for government clientele.

On Thursday, AM LLC unveiled its new service line — AM Bioscience. The new subsidiary from AM will be concerned with assisting local and state governments to adhere to cannabis regulatory specifications and the promotion of consumer health protection.

AM Bioscience will additionally offer social equity programming, laboratory testing, research development and peer review — and market analyses.

AM LLC is headquartered in Virginia and was founded in 2011 with a commitment to designing and providing innovative IT and health solutions to public and private partnerships. AM has had contracts with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, allegedly supported Operation Iraqi Freedom and was voted to be a top work place by The Washington Post this year.

Additional customers of the IT outfit include the National Institute of Health, the CDC and the Municipality of Anchorage.

Recently, the company has developed an interest in providing services for the cannabis industry and the government organizations involved.

Gabriel also expressed that AM Bioscience will compliment the collection of researchers and leading experts AM already has — thereby amplifying company capabilities to assists clients with cannabis safety protocols, community health protection and navigation of compliance complications.

The company recognizes that successful application of its services will require a broad range of expertise. With that in mind, AM has assembled a multidisciplinary team of top-tier experts to address and mitigate the complexities of cannabis regulatory frameworks.

With the new bioscience division from AM government agencies will be able to utilize multiple cannabis regulatory services from some of the leading public health professionals, researchers, policy analysts and laboratory supervisors.

AM Bioscience will offer cannabis lab testing services for pesticides, potency, heavy metals and residual solvents.
