Stallion Uranium Corp. (TSXV: STUD) (OTCQB: STLNF) (FSE: FE0) outlined 27 kilometers of basement conductive trends during its MobileMT airborne geophysical survey at the Sandy Lake Project in the Athabasca basin.

The company reported on Thursday that the survey aimed to map bedrock structure and lithology, including potential alteration and mineralization zones. The company obtained the distribution of resistivity with depth. Additionally, it used electromagnetic data to study the properties of the bedrock units.

Stallion has identified five priority trends with additional geophysical anomalies associated with uranium mineralization in the area. This new data justifies further exploration with a ground electromagnetic survey. The ground survey will cover the SL1 and SL2 conductive corridors to pinpoint the top drilling locations on each trend.

“The completion of this survey has identified compelling target areas at Sandy Lake and takes the project another step closer to drill readiness,” Drew Zimmerman, Stallion CEO, said.

“With geological features similar to the nearby Shea Creek and Cluff Lake Mine, Sandy Lake is becoming a top tier project with major discovery potential.”

Convolutions Geoscience analyzed the 2024 AFMAG survey data from Expert Geophysics and identified the five conductive trends.

Some conductive anomalies align with the ring and radial structures from the nearby Carswell impact. The interaction of regional conductors with Carswell structures could trap and concentrate uranium-bearing fluids.

The survey also revealed structural complexities in the basement geology, such as bends and splays, which favour uranium mineralization.

Stallion expands its exploration portfolio beyond uranium

Stallion is actively expanding its exploration portfolio beyond uranium by engaging in a series of strategic initiatives across various mineral-rich regions. Recently, Stallion has been focusing on advanced geophysical surveys and drilling programs in its gold and copper projects in Nevada.

These efforts aim to delineate high-potential mineral zones and bring new discoveries to the market. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and robust fieldwork, Stallion is strengthening its position as a multi-commodity explorer.

Part of that strengthening has been finding like-minded fellow travellers to partner with.

For example, Stallion and ATHA Energy Corp. (CSE: SASK) (FRA: X5U) (OTCQB: SASKF) share a strategic connection in their pursuit of uranium exploration and development. Stallion leverages geophysical data and advanced survey techniques to identify priority trends and conductive corridors rich in uranium potential.

ATHA’s focus is on the exploration and development of high-grade uranium deposits, collaborates with Stallion to utilize these insights and target promising drilling locations.

This partnership enables both companies to synergize their resources and expertise, aiming to capitalize on the rich uranium prospects within their shared regions of interest, thereby advancing their respective exploration objectives more effectively.
