Relevant Gold gets approval for 29 Lewiston drill‑pad locations

The Wyoming explorer plans a Burr step-out roughly two kilometres from its earlier drilling and a Sweetwater test before the 2026 season ends.

Relevant Gold Corp. CVERGC OTCMKTSRGCCF said on Friday that the U.S. Bureau of Land Management approved expanded exploration drilling covering 29 drill-pad locations at its wholly owned Lewiston gold project in Wyoming. The approval opens targets for a planned Burr step-out roughly two kilometres from the 2024 drill area.

Shares rose to C$0.45 on the TSX Venture Exchange at 4:00 p.m. EST on Nov. 6 CVERGC.

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality also approved the associated Drill Notice, Relevant Gold said. The new sites cover the southern Burr trend and parallel Sweetwater trend in Fremont County, providing locations for phased exploration over several years.

The approvals complement the 5,000-metre Lewiston program that Relevant Gold announced as fully funded and underway on Aug. 12. That announcement described applications to extend drilling access along another 2.5 kilometres of the Burr trend and into Sweetwater.

The permit update follows an Oct. 28 staking announcement that increased Lewiston to roughly 20,000 acres. The added ground covers the interpreted southern Burr extension and adjacent structural corridors.

"The authorization provides drill-site options within the approved footprint; it does not commit the Company to use every pad or represent a 29-hole program," Relevant Gold said in the release.

The explorer plans to test the mapped Burr extension beneath gold-bearing surface occurrences sampled in 2025. The approximately two-kilometre step-out is a reconnaissance hole; establishing geological and grade continuity back to the earlier drilling would require further holes.

The 2024 Burr program intersected gold mineralization in all six holes over roughly 300 metres of strike. Hole 24HH-4 returned 1.4 grams per tonne gold over 2.4 metres of core.

That interval included 2.2 grams per tonne gold over 1.5 metres. These are core lengths, with true widths not established, and the Nov. 6 announcement contains no new assays.

Relevant Gold raised C$12,056,718 in gross proceeds through a non-brokered placement completed in April, according to its April 13 release. Those proceeds were allocated to Wyoming exploration, including Apex and Lewiston drilling, and general working capital.

The fully funded description applies to the program announced in August; Relevant Gold says its 2027 plans depend on results and funding. Geological observations and assays from the planned holes will be combined with mapping, surface geochemistry and geophysics to select follow-up targets.

The company cautioned that selective surface samples do not establish average grades or continuity. Its interpreted trends and geophysical targets do not establish a mineral resource or economic viability.

Relevant Gold plans to complete at least one Sweetwater hole and one Burr step-out before the end of the 2026 season, subject to weather, safe access, rig availability, drilling progress and permit conditions.
