Australia’s Gelteq Ltd (NASDAQ: GELS) was up by nearly 93 per cent on the Nasdaq Monday after its top American client upped its purchase order by 50 per cent. Gelteq specializes in oral drug and nutrient delivery using a proprietary system.
The customer, Health Extracts Inc (OTCMKTS: HYEX), is buying an unspecified quantity of Gelteq’s collagen and mynus sugar blocker gels. They are made to provide the consumer with the benefits of collagen protein while reducing sugar absorption in the body, potentially aiding with weight loss.
“Gelteq’s advanced technology offers a cutting-edge delivery system that empowers us to expand existing sales channels and capitalize on new market opportunities,” Health Extracts President, Duke Pitts, said in a statement.
Gelteq created its patented oral gel delivery method in partnership with Monash University in Melbourne. It is one of the world’s top institutions in the field of pharmaceutical science.
The school’s Monash Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre, backed by the Victorian State Government, has major customers like Pfizer Inc (NYSE: PFE) and Roche Holding AG (OTCMKTS: RHHBF)
Gelteq focuses on four key markets: sports nutrition, pharmaceuticals, pet health and nutraceuticals. Last week, the health and wellness operator announced that 400,000 of its gels were being produced for U.S. and Australian customers.
“Our patented technology can revolutionize the delivery of existing ingredients by integrating them into a gel, including, but not limited to: APIs, excipients, lipid-soluble, vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and herbal extracts,” Gelteq explained.

She uses Gelteq’s patented tech in her BRAIN ACTIVATE product — a cognitive enhancement supplement. It is part of the Whitney Johns Nutrition line.
“Not only are the gels easier to take than powders and pills, but also optimize absorption, delivering impressive results,” Johns said. “Partnering with Gelteq has truly set my supplement range apart, elevating it to new heights.”
She currently has a subscription-based app and fitness program called Fit With Whit. It provides customized workout and meal plans for users, functions as a fitness tracker and has a variety of mental health-oriented content.
Johns is also active on OnlyFans if you feel like paying for that.
