IsoEnergy’s winter drill program identifies intriguing targets to pursue this summer

Surveys have identified a type of hydrothermal system known to be associated with Athabasca Basin uranium deposits

IsoEnergy Ltd.’s (TSX-V: ISO) winter exploration program in the eastern Athabasca Basin enabled the company to identify some promising targets to pursue later this year.

The uranium explorer provided an update on its recent activities at the Laroque East and Hawk projects this Thursday. IsoEnergy completed over 7,000 metres of drilling in 13 holes throughout the program’s duration. Ground geophysical surveys were utilized to locate potential deposits.

“Encouraged by this relatively limited drill testing, we are planning an expanded summer drill program starting in June at Laroque East,” chief executive Phil Williams said. “The work at Hawk confirmed our view that a very large exploration target exists there.”

In particular, the prospector says this year’s winter exploration work helped to extend Hawk’s structural corridor identified in 2023. Follow-up drilling will commence during the summer months.

IsoEnergy will attend the Energy Transition Metals Summit conference in Washington D.C. at the end of April.

The company just hosted an informative session in Saskatoon regarding its recent activities in the Athabasca Basin.

IsoEnergy currently has an C$8 million equity holding in the uranium prospector ATHA Energy Corp. (TSX-V: SASK) (OTCQB: SASKF) (FRA: X5U). It also holds an interest in Premier American Uranium (TSX-V: PUR) valued at C$10.2 million.
