Calibre Mining Corp. (TSX: CXB) (OTCQX: CXBMF) attained its Year 3 conformance with the World Gold Council’s Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs).
Announced on Thursday, the RGMPs provide a benchmark for companies in terms of environmental stewardship, social responsibility and governance practices (ESG). The company’s achievement of Year 3 RGMP compliance displays its dedication to upholding these principles across its operations.
The World Gold Council is a global authority and market development organization for the gold industry. It represents major gold mining companies worldwide. Established in 1987, it aims to promote gold’s use, advocate for its strategic asset role, and enhance gold market transparency.
Conducting research, providing market insights, and collaborating with stakeholders are among its key activities. The WGC educates investors and policymakers about gold’s benefits and significance while fostering sustainability in the industry.

Calibre community relations manager recognized
Additionally, Calibre announces that Angelica Calderon, the company’s community relations manager in Nicaragua, has been recognized as a “Woman of Gold” by Women in Mining–Central America (WIM-CA).
This prestigious recognition highlights Calderon’s outstanding contributions to Calibre’s sustainability efforts and her invaluable role in fostering positive relationships with the company’s host communities.
