Antimony Resources (CNSX: ATMY) (OTCMKTS: ATMYF) is advancing the Bald Hill Antimony Project toward permitting as it shifts from exploration to development planning.
The company has started technical and environmental studies needed for provincial approvals in New Brunswick. Consequently, this marks a key step as it moves toward potential production.
Additionally, Antimony Resources has hired GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists to guide the permitting process. The firm will build a roadmap designed to navigate provincial and federal regulations.
Management has also begun early engagement with regulators and local stakeholders. Furthermore, discussions include the Technical Review Committee and the Department of Indigenous Affairs. The company is also working with Municipal Councils and First Nations communities.
Chief executive Jim Atkinson said early outreach could shorten the timeline to development. He indicated that involving regulators and communities upfront may reduce delays later in the process. Additionally, he noted that GEMTEC will play a central role in coordinating these efforts.
Meanwhile, field activity continues to expand alongside regulatory work. The company has engaged SRK Consulting to deliver its first mineral resource estimate.
In addition, a 10,000-metre drilling program is underway to define the size of the deposit. Three rigs are currently operating at the site. Consequently, the program aims to provide investors with clearer data on the project’s scale.
Recent exploration results have strengthened confidence in the asset. Trenching at the Marcus West Zone extended visible antimony mineralization to roughly 80 metres.
Furthermore, geological characteristics at Marcus West closely resemble those found in the Main Zone. This similarity suggests the system could extend beyond initial expectations.
