Revival Gold reports one of strongest drill intercepts yet at Idaho project

Revival Gold completed a 5,500-metre drilling program at Beartrack-Arnett this year

Revival Gold Inc (CVE: RVG) (OTCMKTS: RVLGF) (FRA: 76V) reported one of the strongest gold drill results recorded at its Joss deposit within the Beartrack-Arnett project in Idaho, with a long interval of high-grade mineralization that could support future underground resource growth.

The company said drill hole BT26-255D returned 3.43 grams per tonne gold over 131.7 metres of drilled width at a depth of 543 metres. The intercept also included 6.56 grams per tonne gold over 42.5 metres, including a richer section grading 11.58 grams per tonne gold over 12.1 metres. Revival Gold estimates the true width equals roughly 40 to 50 per cent of the drilled width.

Additionally, the intercept sits about 70 metres above drill hole BT22-242D and roughly 150 metres below BT21-240D, both of which also returned strong gold grades during earlier drilling campaigns. The company believes the new results may mark the beginning of a north-plunging mineralized shoot that extends beyond currently defined resources.

Revival Gold completed a 5,500-metre drilling program at Beartrack-Arnett this year. The campaign targeted potential expansion of high-grade underground sulphide mineral resources that the company last drilled in 2022.

President and chief executive officer Hugh Agro said the latest hole ranks among the best grade-thickness intercepts ever drilled at Joss. He said the 6.56 grams per tonne gold interval over 42.5 metres demonstrates the strength of sulphide mineralization while confirming the deposit remains open both at depth and along strike.

Furthermore, Agro credited the company’s exploration team and contractors National Drilling and Major Drilling for completing the program. He also said investors can expect additional drill results during the coming weeks.

Beartrack-Arnett represents significant opportunity

The latest hole intersected the Panther Creek Shear Zone, the geological structure that hosts gold mineralization across the project. Revival Gold reported that every primary drill hole and wedge hole completed this season successfully reached the target zone.

In addition, the company has now released results from six of eight planned pierce points. Assay results from wedge holes BT26-254DW and BT26-255DW remain pending.

The company said Joss contains approximately 1.2 kilometres of known mineralized strike length. Higher-grade zones exceeding two grams per tonne gold range from about two to 20 metres in true width. Meanwhile, a broader lower-grade mineralized halo extends between roughly five and 70 metres in true width.

Geologists believe the latest intercept strengthens the case for additional drilling northeast of BT26-255D. They plan to determine the full extent of the possible north-plunging shoot and evaluate whether similar mineralization continues beyond the currently defined area.

Beartrack-Arnett represents a structurally controlled orogenic gold system hosted within the Panther Creek Shear Zone in Idaho. Revival Gold currently holds an earn-in agreement that could allow it to acquire a 100 per cent interest in the project.

According to the company, S&P Capital IQ Pro ranked Beartrack-Arnett among the five largest new gold discoveries made in the United States during the past 15 years. The ranking measured growth in mineral resources and reserves from no defined resource in 2010 to current estimates.

The Joss area contains an inferred underground sulphide mineral resource of 6.745 million tonnes grading 4.05 grams per tonne gold. That resource contains approximately 877,000 ounces of gold.

Trump administration has expanded support for domestic production

However, the underground sulphide resource does not form part of the project’s 2023 preliminary feasibility study. That study evaluated only a first-phase open-pit heap leach operation.

Consequently, Revival Gold designed this year’s drilling program to expand known mineralization and support a future resource update. The company also hopes the results will provide data for a future underground mining economic study.

The company said drill holes BT26-255D and BT26-253DW both confirmed the strength of mineralization at Joss. Additionally, the holes helped define the depth of younger Tertiary rocks that overlie the deposit.

BT26-253DW intersected the post-mineral Panther Creek Fault before entering post-mineral Tertiary rocks. Consequently, Revival Gold believes those younger rocks may have produced a thinner mineralized intercept than originally expected.

The results also reinforce growing investor interest in Idaho’s mineral potential. This is because of the United States’ push to strengthen domestic supplies of critical resources.

Although the state has long ranked among the country’s leading gold producers, it also hosts significant antimony deposits, placing it in a unique position to contribute to both precious metals production and critical mineral supply chains.

The shift comes as the Trump administration expands federal support for domestic mineral production. In addition to gold and antimony, the administration broadened its mineral strategy to include copper.

Idaho has also become increasingly important to U.S. mineral development as the Trump administration expands support for domestic production of gold, antimony and copper. The state hosts Perpetua Resources Corp’s (TSE: PPTA) (NASDAQ: PPTA) Stibnite gold-antimony project, Hercules Metals Corp.’s (CVE: BIG) (OTCMKTS: BADEF) Hercules copper discovery and NevGold Corp’s (CVE: NAU) (OTCMKTS: NAUFF) (FRA: 5E50) Nutmeg Mountain gold project.
