A new celebrity cannabis brand inspired by a combination of wrestling and hip-hop music will soon be making its way through the U.S.

On Thursday, Tyson 2.0 announced a new partnership with Verano Holdings Corp. (CSE: VRNO) (OTCQX: VRNOF) to distribute the new Ric Flair Drip Cannabis line across 11 states.

Within its 13-state territory of operation, Verano owns 109 dispensaries and 13 cultivation facilities. The news comes after Tyson 2.0 acquired a majority stake in Ric Flair Drip, Inc. this March.

Ric Flair is a retired American professional wrestler and Ric Flair Drip is a phrase widely recognized as a song title by hip-hop artists 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin with a music video featuring the former wrestling champion.

Tyson 2.0 is a cannabis brand founded by Mike Tyson, a boxing icon and one of the most famous people on earth.

In partnership with the multi-state and multi-brand cannabis operator, Verano, along with the “Nature Boy,” Ric Flair — Tyson 2.0 will soon be spreading Ric Flair Drip Cannabis across an initial 11 states beginning with Arizona, Nevada and Illinois.

Connecticut, West Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey will receive the new merchandise later on.

Nature Boy vape cartridges (coined after Ric’s nickname), flower jars with Ric Flair quotes printed on them and WOOOOO Chews edibles reminiscent of the former wrestler’s famous catchphrase are examples of the new cannabis products. One gram sativa, indica and hybrid pre-rolls will also become available in the near future.
