Thunder Gold drills 102.0m at 1.178 g/t gold at Tower Mountain
The Ontario infill interval has an estimated true width of 75.7 metres, while the hole ended in mineralization beyond the current pit limit.

Thunder Gold Corp. CVETGOL OTCMKTSTGOLF FRAZ25 reported on Monday that infill drilling returned 102.0 metres averaging 1.178 grams per tonne gold at Tower Mountain in Ontario. The infill hole tested inferred resources in the central Bench trend and ended with 12.0 metres averaging 0.785 grams per tonne gold outside the current optimized pit limit.
Shares were quoted at C$0.15 on the TSX Venture Exchange at 12:09 p.m. EDT on Oct. 19, according to CVETGOL.
The Oct. 19 results table puts the headline interval at 255.0 metres downhole and estimates its true width at 75.7 metres. It forms part of a 159.0-metre interval averaging 0.894 grams per tonne gold.
Thunder Gold is increasing planned drilling in response to the continuous mineralization and targets a resource update for the fourth quarter of 2026. The company says the results continue to correlate with its existing resource model, while mineralization remains open at depth.
Thunder Gold is a gold explorer whose flagship property lies 40 kilometres west of Thunder Bay. The headline hole, TM26-221, was one of three drilled on a common section through the central Bench-3738-Ellen trend.
The shallower hole intersected 75.0 metres averaging 0.551 grams per tonne gold, about 200 metres above the headline hole. Its true width is unknown.
The deeper hole intersected a barren mafic dike before gold mineralization resumed at 438.0 metres and continued to its end at 450.0 metres. Thunder Gold plans additional drilling on that section after results suggested the southern contact may lie about 50 metres farther south than modelled.
"Collectively, these holes have intersected 3.3 kilometres of continuous gold mineralization, averaging 0.468 g/t Au, as predicted by our 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate," president and chief executive Wes Hanson said in the release.
Thunder Gold said actual grades across ten infill holes were about 10 per cent above modelled grades on a length-weighted basis, although individual holes varied. The headline hole's whole-hole average was slightly below its model prediction.
All ten infill holes were completed after the current resource model was prepared.
The company's January 2026 resource summary lists 514,000 ounces of indicated gold at 0.463 grams per tonne. A further 3,053,000 ounces are inferred, at 0.450 grams per tonne.

An airborne magnetotelluric survey has been completed, and Thunder Gold is reviewing its results for alteration changes at depth. Its website targets an initial preliminary economic assessment in the fourth quarter of 2026 or the first quarter of 2027.
