Thesis Gold Inc. (TSXV: TAU) (WKN: A2QQ0Y) (OTCQX: THSGF) deployed geophysics and soil sampling teams to its Ranch Gold Project in the Toodoggone mining district in British Columbia as the first stage of its 2023 exploration program.
The company announced the start of its exploration campaign on Thursday by adding new drill targets to its over 20 targets previously identified.
Teams of geophysics and soil sampling experts are collecting detailed information about the mgnetic and chemical properties of an area that looks very promising for finding valuable minerals. This area stretches in a northwest direction aand has already shown signs of containing minerals across the entire property.
In fact, some samples taken from this new area have revealed high concentrations of gold, with the highest being 69.50 grams of gold per tonne of material. This new discovery is about six kilometers away from the main areas of interest, known as the Thesis Structural Corridor and the Bonanza-Ridge zone. This shows that there is still a lot of potential for finding more valuable resources at the Ranch Gold Project.
Teams on the ground are collecting 1,200 soil samples and covering a distance of over 170 kilometers to study the magnetic properties of the area. The teams are doing this to check if there are any interesting patterns or abnormalities in both the chemical and physical properties of the soil.
This method has been successful in finding valuable minerals at the Steve zone, which was discovered last year, as well as finding more deposits at the Thesis Structural Corridor and Bonanza-Ridge.
Alongside the field crews, contractors are setting up the necessary infrastructure and getting the drilling equipment ready. This is to ensure that Thesis Gold can start drilling holes as part of its 30,000-meter exploration program for this summer.

British Columbia is home to many high level gold operations
British Columbia is an excellent destination for gold prospecting due to its rich geological diversity and history of significant gold discoveries. The province is home to a vast array of mineral deposits, including world-class gold-bearing systems. Its diverse terrain, encompassing mountain ranges, rivers and forests, provides a favourable environment for gold deposition and accumulation.
Calibre Mining (TSX: CXB) (OTCQX: CXBMF) is based in British Columbia, with operations in Washington State, Nevada and Nicaragua. The company recently recovered high grade gold assays from its 2023 expansion drilling campaign at its Pan Mine in the Battle Mountain Eureka gold trend in Nevada.
The results from the Palomino target, south of the pit operation, show higher grades than originally shown at the Pan mine and higher than the present mineral resource.
Enduro Metals Corporation (TSXV: ENDR) (OTCQB: ENDMF) (FSE: SOG) reported that field crews started with geophysical, geochemical and geolocial mapping surveys at its Newmont Lake Project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle.
During the first part of the 2023 exploration season, fieldwork has been ongoing to expand on the findings from a survey conducted late last season at North Toe. North Toe is an area rich in copper and gold deposits and was hidden under a glacier that has been shrinking rapidly towards the west.
