TerrAscend to offer immersive Cookies experience at its New Jersey pot shops

Cookies Corners will have Cookies’ wall art, merch and soon-to-launch vapes and pre-rolls

TerrAscend Corp.  (CSE: TER) (OTCQX: TRSSF) has partnered with the San Francisco-based Cookies in opening a new “immersive” experience offering exclusive products and a bud bar at its pot shops in New Jersey.

On Monday, the firms announced the Cookies Corners will also have Cookies’ wall art, merch and soon-to-launch vapes and pre-rolls.

The first one will be located at The Apothecarium pot shop in Maplewood and additional corners are set to launch in Lodi and Phillipsburg soon.

In August last year, TerrAscend first announced the agreement with Cookies which allows it to cultivate and manufacture Cookies products in New Jersey. This followed the TerrAscend acquisition of Gage which also extended its agreement with Cookies until 2026.

New Jersey rec is off to a strong start, and we are thrilled to add the exclusive Cookies Corners shopping experience to our dispensaries,” TerrAscend executive chairman Jason Wild said.

“The addition of Cookies Corners demonstrates our commitment to offering New Jersey consumers an elevated cannabis retail experience.”

TerrAscend has operations in PennsylvaniaNew JerseyMichigan and California as well as licensed cultivation and processing operations in Maryland and licensed production in Canada. TerrAscend runs The Apothecarium and Gage stores and does business as Ilera Healthcare, Kind Tree, Prism, State Flower, Valhalla Confections and Arise Bioscience Inc.

Company stock stayed flat on Monday at $3.48 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

“We are incredibly excited to be opening up our Cookies Corner in the Maplewood Apothecarium, ” Cookies co-founder Berner said.

New Jersey has really shown up for Cookies products since they have been on market, and I can’t wait to show customers our in-store Cookies experience,” he added.

Cookies was founded in 2010 by Billboard-charting rapper and entrepreneur Berner and Bay Area breeder and cultivator Jai. The company has a collection of over 70 proprietary cannabis cultivars and more than 2,000 products.

The company opened its first retail store in 2018 in Los Angeles and has since expanded to over 45 retail locations in 17 markets across five countries.
