From the Brand Discovery Pavilion to the after party, the event promises to educate and entertain cannabis folk of all sorts

The Lift Vancouver 2023 cannabis business conference and trade show will be returning this January now that COVID-19 is no longer rearing its ugly head as much and the event promises to feature a broad range of cannabis everything.

On Monday, the “Top 10 Can’t-Miss Experiences” at the upcoming event were revealed by organizers.

The three-day gathering running between Jan. 12-14 will be jam-packed with business-building ideation, networking opportunities, a diverse array of speakers and brand discovery.

Top 10 Can’t-Miss Experiences at Lift Vancouver 2023

The event will feature three distinctive content showcases — namely the Industry Stage, Interactive Speakers’ Corner and Brand Stage. Popular topics of discussion featured at those showcases will include sex education, cannabis & fitness, next-gen vaping and education & opportunities.

The Brand Discovery Pavilion will also be making its Vancouver debut at next year’s event, showcasing an assortment of cannabis brands with a special micro and small-batch craft growers’ area.

The event will provide the opportunity for attendees to learn about available opportunities for Indigenous businesses in British Columbia and Indigenous cannabis cooperation with Otis Jasper, Daniel Penny and Darwin Douglas — a Director of Business Development & Partner Relations at All Nations, a Chief Operational Officer at Sugar Cane Cannabis and the CEO of All Nations.

Budtenders will be able to receive the latest information on training for their profession through the event’s new and improved Budtender Program hosted in part by the Budtenders Association. Certified budtenders are eligible to receive free tickets for the program.

Saturday will feature a Culinary Cannabis Session for edible lovers with Connor Macnamee, CEO of West Blvd Cannabis and the Cannabinista Anna Li, a cannabis-infused food and beverage creator.

There will be an Outdoor Networking Lounge spanning 600 square feet for those who want to talk business and make some canna-connections. The space will feature games, seating and “special treats.”

The Brand Stage will feature a conversation between two renowned industry figures, Mike “El hasho” Imposimato from Ghost Drops and Spensir Sangara from THC Canada.

Saturday will feature a Joint Rolling Tutorial for those who need to brush up on their ganja twisting abilities.

Those in attendance will be able to view a screening of Frenchy Dreams of Hashish, a documentary celebrating the life of renowned cannabis grower Frenchy Cannoli.

Lastly, the event will conclude with an after-party at The Lamplighter Public House in Gastown where everyone in attendance at the conference is invited.
