Humble signs sales agreement with California-based LEUNE

The brand is led by women and known to be committed to social advocacy

Leading Canadian cannabis distributor Humble & Fume Inc. (CSE: HMBL) (OTCQX: HUMBF) is set to sell products from a Californian pot brand led by women and known to be committed to social advocacy.

On Thursday, the accessory company announced that its subsidiary Humble Cannabis Solutions has signed an exclusive agreement with the cannabis brand LEUNE. Humble will be responsible for the brand’s sales representation across California with a focus on marketing and promotional services.

LEUNE says it hopes to change the narrative of cannabis culture and has been recognized for its pre-rolls, solvent-less rosin gummies as well as the cartridges for the popular vaporizer PAX by Storz & Bickel. The brand also sells cannabis accessories and apparel under LEUNE Lab.

Humble’s general manager Jessica Hulser said in a statement the company’s reputation for quality products and its commitment to social advocacy has won over customers.

Company stock price went down by 4.17 per cent Thursday to C$0.23 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

LEUNE is a partner of the non-profit Last Prisoner Project, an organization that aims to advocate policy change, education, expungement and helps people incarcerated for non-violent cannabis crimes.

The brand is also a member of the Broccoli Mag’s Floret Coalition, an anti-racist collective of cannabis-related businesses that give back to communities who were harmed by the war on drugs. The coalition has over 100 brand members that have donated over US$120,000 for organizations prioritizing the needs of Black, Latin and Indigenous communities.

Humble’s director of sales and brand development Kristi Klupar said this new approach to cannabis sales will open doors and build on the existing customer base in California.

“As the only cannabis and accessories provider in North America, we are committed to working with brand partners to build long-term success,” Klupar said.

“I am thrilled to join the Humble team and work with fantastic women-led brands like LEUNE.”
