Brunswick Exploration reports 302 metres grading 1.73% lithium oxide
The Anais dyke interval includes 142 metres at 1.97 per cent lithium oxide, with true thickness estimated at about 80 per cent of drilled length.

Brunswick Exploration Inc. CVEBRW OTCMKTSBRWXF FRA1XQ reported on Wednesday 302.05 metres grading 1.73 per cent lithium oxide at its Anatacau Main project in Quebec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay region. The result establishes lithium grades about 100 metres below an earlier intercept in the Anais dyke, which remains open in all directions.
Shares on the TSX Venture Exchange CVEBRW were unchanged at C$0.21 at 4 p.m. EST on Nov. 3, before the assay release.
Hole AN-26-17 included a higher-grade section of 142 metres at 1.97 per cent lithium oxide. That section began at a downhole depth of 426 metres.
The headline interval is a drilled length, with true thickness estimated at approximately 80 per cent of that length. Brunswick is preparing another drilling campaign, although the dyke's full geometry still needs to be confirmed.
The Montreal-based company explores for lithium, and Anatacau Main is part of its Quebec portfolio. Wednesday's assays put grades on the pegmatite interval Brunswick first announced on Oct. 15, when laboratory results were pending.
The main interval runs from a downhole depth of 295.25 metres to 597.30 metres. The drill hole encountered other pegmatites beyond that interval and stopped at the rig's depth limit while still in pegmatite.
The earlier hole above it returned 202 metres grading 1.31 per cent lithium oxide. Brunswick described the newly assayed interval as nearly continuous pegmatite, with approximately 3 per cent altered host-rock inclusions.
Lithium mineralization occurs in medium- to coarse-grained spodumene within the pegmatite. The company associates the higher-grade section with more abundant fresh spodumene, occurrences of cleavelandite and weak potassic alteration.
The dyke's plunge appears to change from approximately 70 degrees at surface to 45 degrees at depth, according to the Nov. 4 release. Further drilling is needed to establish the shape of the body.

"We are eagerly awaiting to restart drilling and are currently preparing a major exploration campaign at Anatacau to fully demonstrate the potential of the project," president and chief executive Killian Charles said in the release.
Brunswick's Oct. 15 update counted four holes totalling approximately 1,800 metres in the Anais sector during the summer campaign. Assays remain pending for two holes drilled outside the Anais dyke. The rest of AN-26-17 also awaits assays.
Agat Laboratories prepared and analysed the samples. Brunswick said laboratory screening and the inserted standards, duplicates and blanks returned acceptable results.
The next announced step is further detail on the Anatacau exploration campaign, for which Brunswick's Nov. 4 release supplies no start date.
