Rubicon Organics Inc (CVE: ROMJ) (OTCMKTS: ROMJF) celebrated a significant milestone this week after making its first-ever international shipment to Poland.
Rubicon did not specify the quantity sent, the customer or whether additional marijuana parcels would be delivered overseas. The British Columbia company has highlighted that the European nation has over 90,000 medical cannabis patients.
“I’m excited that Rubicon will be able to deliver more of our premium cannabis to both our customers in Canada and fill the high demand for BC Bud internationally,” CEO Margaret Brodie said in a press release on Mar 13. She is also a Board Member of the Cannabis Council of Canada, the country’s national trade association.
Rubicon currently runs a 125,000-square-foot organic cultivation greenhouse in the province’s city of Delta, south of Vancouver. It is one of only a few that are certified by the Fraser Valley Organic Producers Association. It has an annual production capacity of 11,000 kilograms.
The cultivator is also focused on edibles and claims that its THC-infused munchies portfolio has been expanding by 185 per cent every year.
