Visible Gold Mines discovers lithium-cesium-tantalum pegmatites on MegaLi lithium project

The program’s objective was to evaluate the MegaLi Property’s lithium potential and uncover LCT pegmatites

Visible Gold Mines (TSXV: VGD) reported that SPOD Lithium‘s (CSE: SPOD) field crews discovered lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites on Visible Gold Mines’ MegaLi lithium project in the James Bay region of Quebec.

The program’s primary objective involved evaluating the MegaLi Property’s lithium potential and uncovering LCT pegmatites through geological mapping and sampling. SPOD Lithium performed the evaluation.

Visible Gold Mines discovers multiple anomalies

The Dahrouge Geological Consulting report prepared by SPOD Lithium on the MegaLi Property highlighted claimed Block A, C and D warranted more attention.

Consequently, block D results discovered tantalum (Ta) results up to 114 parts per million and cesium (Cs) results up to 126 parts per million. Combined with high Rubidium (Rb) values of 2,480 parts per million, this level of enrichment indicates the proximal location of spodumene bearing pegmatites.

Block C also shows a strong Rb-Ta anomaly, which could be related to the same five kilometre trend. Block A has a cluster of Rb-Ta anomalies forming a pluri-kilometric trend close to a north-east Proterozoic dyke. This is recognizable via its strong magnetic signature. The company did not visit its Block F claim during its October field trip due to difficult weather.

Visible Gold Mines is a gold focused corporation in the prolific Abitibi Gold Belt and James Bay region in Québec. Visible Gold Mines’ 100 per cent owned MegaLi Project is presently under option with SPOD Lithium.

It consists of 78 mining claims over 3,996.67 hectares (or 40 square kilometers).

The property is adjacent to the Corvette project owed by Patriot Battery Metals (TSXV: PMET). It’s also close to the Trans-Taiga Road, airport and power line infrastructure James Bay.
