U.S. Gold Corp. (NASDAQ: USAU) has become a Copper Boot sponsor for the 128th Annual Cheyenne Frontier Days.
The company made the announcement on Wednesday, marking the second year running as a sponsor and third year overall of festival sponsorship.
Cheyenne Frontier Days involves a ten-day party that features the world’s biggest outdoor rodeo. This tradition, established in 1897, has become a cornerstone of the region. The event celebrates the rich Western heritage of the country where top professional rodeo competitors vie for over USD$1 million in prizes during the festivities. Cheyenne Frontier Days also features activities like chuckwagon cook-offs, nightly concerts, and a Western art show.
“Our CK Gold Project continues to align with the mission of the city of Cheyenne as we look to provide significant economic activity for Cheyenne and Laramie County,” said George Bee, CEO of US Gold.
“We look forward to celebrating the spirit of the West which is alive and well here in the Rocky Mountains.”
U.S. Gold’s CK Gold Project got a major green light in May this year.
The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality granted the project a Mine Operating Permit, clearing a significant regulatory hurdle for development. This mine holds promise for the future of electric vehicles. With an estimated 1.01 million ounces of gold and 248 million pounds of copper, the CK Gold Project is expected to produce an average of 108,500 ounces of gold equivalent annually over its ten-year lifespan.

CK Gold Project offers resource friendly environment
The company believes this will support government plans to electrify the automotive industry, as copper is essential for renewable energy and electric transmission. The project also includes gold reserves, a long-valued asset for preserving wealth and protecting against inflation and currency fluctuations.
Earlier this week Bee provided an update on the CK Gold Project during an interview with Proactive’s Stephen Gunnion. Bee emphasized the project’s strategic location in Wyoming, which offers a resource-friendly environment and supportive infrastructure for mining activities. He spoke about the project’s environmental benefits, including the absence of hazardous chemicals and smokestack emissions, and the use of a dry stack tailings system to recycle water and address scarcity issues.
