U.S. Gold to present at New York’s Current Trends in Mining Finance Conference

Chief executive George Bee will be joined by Rob McEwen and other influential industry figures at the ninth annual event

Wyoming’s U.S. Gold Corp. (Nasdaq: USAU) will soon be taking part in a series of intriguing presentations at a New York City mining conference centred around financial trends in the industry.

The event will be held at the Shearman & Sterling law firm’s headquarters in central Manhattan on May 20. It is being hosted by the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). This year’s theme is seeking certainty in an uncertain world.

U.S. Gold’s chief executive George Bee will be a panelist during discussions titled “What are the Mines of the Future?” and “What is Driving Today’s Cost Overrun of Mine and Other Projects; What Can You Do to Mitigate Risk?”

He will also be a guest speaker at one of the conference’s final talks on key considerations for mineral resource development. “All mineral resources are not created equal!” is one of the main points. It highlights key factors to consider before developing a natural resource deposit of any kind.

The Current Trends in Mining Finance Conference aims to address pressing issues in the mining industry regarding critical minerals, acquiring adequate funding for new projects, precious metals, commodities needed for electric vehicle batteries and other important topics.

The Grand Chief of Quebec’s Cree First Nation of Waswanipi, Mandy Gull-Masty, will be opening the proceedings on day two. She has experience negotiating with mining companies that operate in the Cree territory, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.

McEwen Mining Inc. (TSX: MUX) Chairman Rob McEwen will be in attendance as well. He is giving a speech on “How to Make Mining Relevant for Investors.”

In addition to U.S. Gold and McEwen, other precious metals producers attending the conference will include MAG Silver Corp (TSX: MAG), Relevant Gold Corp (TSX-V: RGC) and TRU Precious Metals Corp (TSX-V: TRU).

Media companies such as the Northern Miner, Canadian Mining Journal and North of 60 Mining News will be providing coverage.
