In the heart of West Hollywood, California, the OG Cannabis Café has quickly become the talk of the town. The cafe is boasting an eclectic mix of offerings that cater to cannabis enthusiasts and curious patrons alike. From Super Bowl watch parties to marijuana meditation sessions and comedy nights, this café is redefining the concept of a traditional dining experience.

Within a mere 15 minutes of opening its doors, the cafe sold out nearly 300 reservations for its Super Bowl game day event. Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of West Hollywood, the café offers a range of cannabis-infused products alongside a delectable dining menu. This combination is making it a sought-after destination for locals and tourists alike.

Originally launched prior to the pandemic, the café faced temporary closure due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, after a period of quiet relaunching, it has emerged stronger than ever. It is positioning itself as a cornerstone of West Hollywood’s cannabis scene. The café’s revival is part of a larger trend in the area, with several consumption lounges like Artist Tree and PleasureMed’s Irie restaurant also gaining traction.

Boasting three distinct spaces, the OG Cannabis Café caters to diverse preferences and lifestyles. From an outdoor smoker-friendly patio to a cozy indoor area designated for smokers, and a separate smoke-free patio offering wine and beer, the café ensures there’s something for everyone. Customers can seamlessly transition between spaces while enjoying a range of dining options available throughout the venue.

Special features and curated cannabis offerings

The café’s cannabis menu features an array of pre-rolls, loose flower, and gummies sourced from reputable suppliers such as Wav, Helena Farms, and Dizzies. While high potency extracts and cannabis-infused foods are not available for purchase, patrons are welcome to bring their own preferred cannabis products for consumption. A nominal fee allows guests to indulge in their own selections at their designated table.

Setting itself apart with its tailored programming, the café aims to foster a sense of community among its diverse clientele. With a sizable queer community in the area, the café plans inclusive events to welcome everyone. Additionally, themed nights like “Marijuana Meditation” cater to wellness-minded individuals, while comedy nights promise laughter and entertainment for all.

Recognizing the needs of tourists and visitors, the café is exploring partnerships with local hotels to provide a legal and welcoming environment for marijuana consumption. With restrictions on smoking in hotel rooms and public spaces, the café offers a convenient alternative for travelers looking to enjoy cannabis during their stay. Collaborations with tour guides are also in the pipeline, further enhancing the café’s appeal to visitors.

By blending cannabis culture with community engagement and curated events, the OG Cannabis Café has established itself as more than just a dining destination — it’s a vibrant hub where culture, cannabis, and community converge.
