Nevada Sunrise leverages AI to help find new exploration targets in Nevada

The company will use DORA’s proprietary algorithms to analyze Griffon’s project-specific data alongside VRIFY’s database

Nevada Sunrise Metals Corporation (CVE: NEV) (OTC Pink: NVSGF) has levelled up its exploration plans and targets at its Griffon Gold Mine Project in Nevada by bringing in VRIFY Technology Inc.

Announced on Thursday, DORA is VRIFY’s AI-assisted mineral discovery platform. It’s the only platform that geologists can use for iterative predictable modelling in real time. The platform uses advanced algorithms to generate a prospectivity score, which then identifies areas of potential mineralization.

The score and models generated using DORA use probability-based values to boost the accuracy and reliability of the predictions. These probability models are fed information points from historical exploration data, including surface geological, geochemical and geophysical results, and a digitized drill hole database, which then produce a dataset.

The company will use DORA’s proprietary algorithms to analyze Griffon’s project-specific data alongside VRIFY’s database. In doing so it will quickly uncovering patterns that would be difficult or impossible to detect manually. This process will deliver data-driven insights and identify high-potential areas of mineralization.

“Our goal at Nevada Sunrise is to improve exploration efficiency and uncover value in our projects, which means embracing new technologies like VRIFY,” said Warren Stanyer, President and CEO of Nevada Sunrise.

“AI, when combined with expert geoscience teams, is a powerful tool that helps reduce bias and identify potential mineralization that might otherwise be overlooked.”

Using DORA, Nevada Sunrise will directly access the web-based platform, receive comprehensive training, and generate and refine their own predictive models. Consequently, this will enable hands-on exploration targeting and validation.

Battle Mountain-Eureka hosts multiple high profile projects

Griffon lies approximately 50 kilometres southwest of Ely, Nevada, covering 89 unpatented mineral claims across roughly 1,780 acres. The project sits within the fertile Battle Mountain-Eureka gold trend in east-central Nevada, home to several significant gold deposits.

Nevada Sunrise acquired Griffon in February 2025 and engaged VRIFY to help identify new target areas. From 1998 to 1999, miners extracted gold from Griffon’s two open pits, producing 62,661 ounces of oxide gold before its premature closure, according to the State of Nevada. Furthermore, the company believes VRIFY can refine and validate an exploration plan that could lead to new gold discoveries at Griffon.

Griffon sits within a 60-kilometre stretch of the Battle Mountain-Eureka trend, which hosts several notable gold mines and deposits. A few of these include the Pan Mine, owned and operated by Calibre Mining Corp. (TSE: CXB) (OTMRKTS: CXBMF).  Additionally, the mine hosts measured and indicated resources of 358,900 ounces, and inferred resources of 42,000 ounces gold. The company also reported as producing 35,267 ounces gold in 2024.

Additionally, Bendito Resources Inc operates the Mount Hamilton project in the region. Also, it contains proven and probable mineral reserves of 545,000 ounces of gold and 4,459,600 ounces of silver, with measured and indicated resources totalling 727,000 ounces of gold and 6,569,000 ounces of silver, along with Inferred resources of 119,000 ounces of gold and 1,153,000 ounces of silver.
