Private tech innovator NEURA Robotics has teamed up with Robert Bosch Robotics GmbH to enhance Germany’s global standing in humanoid robot production and the AI sector. Investors looking for exposure to Robert Bosch and its newly formed division can attain it through the public Indian subsidiary Bosch Ltd (NSE: BOSCHLTD).
The companies announced their collaboration on Jan. 14. Bosch will use its manufacturing expertise to help NEURA produce robots more efficiently.
As specified in a press release from NEURA, they will work together to establish a multi-faceted data bank by collecting insights with advanced sensor technologies, jointly develop artificial intelligence software and pioneer intuitive user interfaces. Together, they’re pushing “Made in Germany” robots to compete worldwide.
“Together, we want to turn Europe’s strongest asset — its industrial base — into a competitive advantage in Physical AI and humanoid robotics,” stated NEURA chief executive David Reger.
In related news, Reger just announced that he has joined the German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association’s (VDMA) Robotics + Automation Board. The VDMA is leading trade association in Germany.
This collaboration with Bosch builds on NEURA’s strong showing at CES 2026 in Las Vegas earlier this month. At the prestigious tech event, the company unveiled its latest robots and drew crowds with live demos.
Highlights included the upgraded 4NE1 humanoid, the smaller 4NE1 Mini suited for schools and research, and the NEURA Quadruped/dog variety robot.
All of these connect to NEURA’s “Neuraverse” platform, which lets robots share learning and get instant updates. Reger gave talks, joined by experts from NVIDIA Corp (NASDAQ: NVDA) (ETR: NVD) and NEURA’s other new partner Schaeffler AG (OTCMKTS: SCAFF) (ETR: SHA0). The event opened Neuraverse to partners for sharing robot skills.
NEURA’s recent growth is backed by solid funding. In January last year, the company raised €120 million in a Series B round. This helped boost revenue tenfold and grow the team to over 300.
A key link to Bosch is NEURA’s current Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Oliver Wolst, who joined in early 2025. He spent over 20 years at Bosch, most recently leading its automotive semiconductor division globally. His experience in sensors and electronics helps NEURA speed up product development and innovation.
