Two California cannabis companies will now be collaborating to grow and sell high-grade reefer and clones.

On Wednesday, Glass House Brands Inc. (NEO: GLAS.A.U) (NEO: GLAS.WT.U) (OTCQX: GLASF) (OTCQX: GHBWF) announced that it had engaged in a new partnership with Seed Junky Genetics.

With the terms of the new agreement the two companies will breed cultivars that will become exclusively available through Glass House brands such as Forbidden Flowers, Glass House Farms and Field Extracts.

Glass House is a multi-brand public company primarily focused on the California cannabis market. The company opened a massive 5.5 million square foot greenhouse in Southern California earlier this year.

Seed Junky describes itself as a pioneer in the cannabis industry with 15 years of breeding experience. The company’s roots go back to the prohibition era during the early 2000s when the organization’s founder, “JBeezy,” started developing a passion for breeding and cultivating pot in his garage.

Beginning this fall, growers in the Golden State will be able to buy Seed Junky clones directly from Glass House.

Glass House says that this will provide Cali-cultivators with access to unique genetics that would otherwise be difficult to obtain, particularly in large amounts. The company also says that the partnership with Seed Junky will help add world class genetics to its cultivation and brand catalogue.

“We’re excited to be able to formalize and expand our relationship with Seed Junky,” said Kyle Kazan, Chairman and CEO of Glass House Brands.

“We have great respect for the outstanding quality and strain library which JBeezy and Wes Vazquez have built, and the synergies between our two companies are extremely complementary, which we think will become increasingly strategic, particularly in this highly competitive market.”

The exclusive cultivars from Seed Junky will become available via Glass House brands early next year following the availability of the aforementioned clones.

“We are excited to work with Glass House Brands, one of the largest cultivators in the industry, to propel Seed Junky to new heights, providing outdoor and greenhouse cultivators in California with high quality, affordable genetics and clones,” added JBeezy, Founder of Seed Junky Genetics.

“Expanding the reach of our genetics on such a large scale will take a great deal of skill, talent and proven ability; and working with Glass House Brands will allow us to assist many more cultivators, spreading our genetics throughout the entirety of California.”
