Some patients in Ontario will be able to receive their pot on the same day if they order from Entourage Health Corp. (TSX-V: ENTG) (OTCQX: ETRGF) (FSE: 4WE)’s Starseed Medicinal platform.

On Wednesday, leading cannabis operators Fire & Flower Holdings Corp.  (TSX: FAF) (OTCQX: FFLWF) and Entourage announced they signed an agreement where Fire & Flower subsidiary Pineapple Express Delivery Inc. will offer same-day delivery services for Entourage patients in certain regions in Ontario.

As of mid-May, patients signed up to the platform Starseed Medicinal Inc. will be able to pick a same-day delivery option and then receive real-time tracking notifications by text message to get their products delivered.

Fire & Flower CEO Trevor Fencott said the company has over 40,000 deliveries per month.

“We continue to add additional value to our recent acquisition of Pineapple Express as we deepen our relationships with key licensed producer partners both in the recreational and medical delivery channels such as Entourage and its Starseed Medicinal network,” Fencott said.

Fire & Flower stock went up by 3.61 per cent on Wednesday to $3.12 on the Toronto Securities Exchange.
