Charlotte’s Web signs distribution agreement with leading wine and spirit distributor

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is a family-owned business and has operations in 44 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Canada.

Denver-based Charlotte’s Web Holdings, Inc. (TSX: CWEB) (OTCQX: CWBHF)’s CBD extracts will now be distributed by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.

On Tuesday, the CBD-focused company announced its partnership with the alcohol distributor, which is a family owned business and has operations in 44 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.

“This exciting relationship is another step in delivering on our promise to shift our model to key multi-state distributor relationships in new industry verticals,” Charlotte’s Web CEO Jacques Tortoroli said. 

“Southern Glazer’s large-scale distribution within food and beverage, specialty beer, wine and spirits retail, hospitality and big box retail addresses consumer demand for wellness options in this category. I look forward to working closely to grow our respective businesses.”

Charlotte’s Web sells hemp extract wellness products under Charlotte’s Web, CBD Medic, CBD Clinic and Harmony Hemp. Its catalogue has CBD oil, gummies, capsules, topical creams as well as CBD pet products for dogs.

“We’ve continued to build on our expertise in CBD by providing our suppliers and customers with a trusted distribution experience that enables us to grow this category,”  Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Vice President said.

“Adding Charlotte’s Web enables us to bring an expanded portfolio of innovative products to our retail customers and continue to grow the exciting CBD category.”
