Bitdeer Technologies Group sells all 300.6 BTC in weekly update
The miner's pure bitcoin holdings remained at zero on Oct. 9, compared with 292.3 BTC produced and sold a week earlier.

A week's bitcoin production can leave a miner with no new coins in its own treasury. Bitdeer Technologies Group NASDAQBTDR, the Singapore-based operator of bitcoin mining and AI compute sites, said in an Oct. 10 post that it produced and sold 300.6 BTC in its weekly update as of Oct. 9, leaving pure holdings at zero.
Bitdeer shares slipped to US$9.63 at Friday's Nasdaq close, according to the Google Finance NASDAQBTDR quote at 4:00:01 p.m. EDT. The Oct. 9 close preceded the company's Saturday post, so it does not measure a share reaction to the update.
Bitdeer's previous weekly post put production and sales at 292.3 BTC apiece as of Oct. 2, also with zero pure holdings. Output rose by 8.3 BTC between the two weekly tallies while the posted net addition to holdings stayed at zero. Neither post gives the prices at which those coins were sold.
The Oct. 10 post lists no dollar proceeds, power costs or weekly hashrate, so it cannot show the cash left after operating expenses or explain the extra 8.3 BTC of output. It gives no date for another weekly report. The company has, however, published two snapshots seven days apart.
Bitdeer Reported Higher Weekly Output
Bitdeer defines the zero balance as pure holdings, excluding customer deposits. Its exact wording in the Oct. 10 post was:
"BTC Holdings: 0 (pure holdings, excluding customer deposits)" (Bitdeer, Oct. 10 X post).
Bitdeer used the same definition in its Oct. 2 post. The company's 300.6 BTC sales figure therefore describes the full output reported for the latest weekly period, while its own disclosed pure balance did not rise.
Bitdeer's August operations report put self-mining hashrate at 79.9 exahashes per second and production at 1,310 bitcoin for that month. July production was 1,190 bitcoin and self-mining hashrate was 76.7 exahashes per second. Those monthly figures establish the fleet scale before October, but the weekly posts do not give a matching October hashrate reading.
The August report said Bitdeer would move infrastructure updates from monthly to quarterly disclosures alongside financial results. The continuing weekly X posts report coin output and sales, rather than the site capacity and construction milestones in those infrastructure updates. The report did not set a date for the first quarterly infrastructure update.
A Malaysian AI Campus Targets 2027 Deliveries
Bitdeer AI, the group's cloud business, said on Oct. 8 it signed a 10-year data-centre services agreement for a 67-megawatt A901 campus in Malaysia. That brought its secured AI cloud capacity to about 273.5 megawatts, counting sites it owns or holds under executed data-centre services agreements. Bitdeer AI targets up to 350 megawatts of AI cloud capacity delivered by the first quarter of 2028.
The A901 agreement targets initial capacity delivery in the first quarter of 2027. The full 67 megawatts is targeted for the second quarter of that year. It said no customer offtake commitments had been entered into for A901 as of Oct. 8. Its estimated pipeline of more than US$10 billion represents potential contracts under discussion, rather than executed revenue; the weekly bitcoin post assigns no proceeds to that campus.
The August operations report gave a nearer cloud milestone: the 9.5-megawatt A102 facility was scheduled to be ready for service in November 2026, with revenue recognition expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027. Bitdeer said its GPU capacity there was fully contracted before energization. Those delivery and revenue dates concern a separate business from the weekly mining total.
CleanSpark Held 13,530 Bitcoin At Sept. 30
CleanSpark, Inc. NASDAQCLSK, the U.S. bitcoin miner and data-centre developer, reported 529 bitcoin produced in September and 13,530 held on Sept. 30. Its release says 3,475 of those holdings were posted as collateral or recorded as receivables linked to derivatives. Bitdeer's Oct. 9 zero excludes customer deposits, while CleanSpark's balance includes the specified collateral and receivables.
CleanSpark said on Oct. 9 it would discontinue monthly operating updates and switch to quarterly reporting. Bitdeer's weekly posts still supply production and sales figures, even as its infrastructure reports move to a quarterly schedule. Mugglehead covered CleanSpark's September treasury and output as part of the same mining and data-centre shift.

The Oct. 2 and Oct. 9 as-of dates put the next possible seven-day check at Oct. 16 if Bitdeer keeps that cadence. A new tally would show whether it again sells the full week's production and keeps pure holdings at zero.
