White Gold extends VG gold mineralization 120m down-plunge
A 21.75-metre drill interval grades 2.73 grams per tonne, while assays from 44 holes remain pending at the Yukon project.

White Gold Corp. CVEWGO OTCMKTSWHGOF FRA29W reported on Tuesday that drilling returned 2.73 grams per tonne gold over 21.75 metres, extending VG mineralization beyond its current resource estimate in Yukon. The results extend known mineralization from approximately 230 metres to 350 metres down-plunge, adding targets for a future resource update.
Shares fell 0.7 per cent to C$1.41 on the TSX Venture Exchange at the Oct. 26 close, 4 p.m. EDT, according to CVEWGO. That close preceded Tuesday's assay announcement.
The latest batch covers one VG hole and five holes at Ryan's Surprise, where drilling extended mineralization approximately 50 metres both east and west. The completed 2026 program totalled approximately 18,810 metres across 53 holes, with assays still pending for 44.
White Gold plans to incorporate the results into future resource updates, with all four deposits at its namesake project remaining open in multiple directions. The announcement adds evidence of mineralization beyond the existing model; it does not report a revised resource total.
The VG intersection came from hole QV26-025, beginning at a down-hole depth of 259.25 metres. It included a higher-grade interval of 4.18 grams per tonne over 8.80 metres.
The 21.75-metre intersection is a drill length and should not be read as a measured true width. White Gold described the broader intersection as its strongest at VG below 125 metres of vertical depth.
The latest VG intercept also sits approximately 40 metres west of the previously announced step-out hole. The company now traces mineralization over approximately 170 metres of strike at depth.
The company's account of the drilling says an isolated historical intersection was excluded from the resource because a gap separated it from modelled mineralization. This year's holes were designed to test that gap, and assays remain pending for six of the nine VG holes.
"All three sit along large-scale, east-west trending crustal faults, and we are increasingly interpreting them as potentially related expressions of the same structurally controlled gold system," vice-president of exploration Dylan Langille said in the release.
Langille was referring to Golden Saddle, VG and the Chris Creek target. He said the interpretation, if confirmed, would provide a model for expanding known deposits and targeting discoveries along those fault corridors.
At Ryan's Surprise, western drilling intersected several stacked lenses, including 3.90 grams per tonne over 3.00 metres. An eastern step-out returned 3.36 grams per tonne over 2.25 metres, also within a series of separate mineralized intervals.

White Gold describes the 2026 program as fully funded; the next milestone is the remaining assay results, for which Tuesday's release gives no publication date.
