Vizsla Copper Corp. CVEVCU OTCMKTSVCUFF reported Wednesday that hole CMR26-215 returned 21.2 metres at 307.5 grams per tonne silver equivalent at its AG deposit in southeast Alaska. It is one of three 2026 infill holes the company plans to use in an updated Palmer resource estimate.
The CVEVCU listing fell 2.6 per cent to C$1.14 at the 4 p.m. EDT close on the TSX Venture Exchange on Wednesday.
The Oct. 7 release adds two new AG assays to results from a hole disclosed on Oct. 1. All three tested the central area between the JAG and Nunatak panels of the existing AG deposit, which had not been drilled since 2019.
CMR26-211 cut 37.2 metres at 177.7 grams per tonne silver equivalent. The interval began 145.1 metres downhole and included 12.8 metres at 7.79 per cent zinc.
Vizsla estimates true widths of the reported intersections at 75 to 85 per cent of their downhole lengths.
The assay table puts the actual silver grade of CMR26-215's broad interval at 116.9 grams per tonne, alongside 4.79 per cent zinc. Its 307.5 grams per tonne silver equivalent is calculated from several metals using assumed prices and recoveries.
Vizsla used US$28 an ounce for silver and US$1.50 a pound for zinc in that calculation. The formula also includes copper, lead and gold, while barite is excluded.
The 21.2-metre interval contains 7.2 metres at 207.5 grams per tonne silver. It also contains 1.2 metres at 23.58 per cent zinc; both shorter intervals are inside the broader run.
Another interval in CMR26-211 returned 22.5 metres at 4.36 per cent zinc.
The previously announced CMR26-213 hole returned 30.6 metres at 209.2 grams per tonne silver equivalent. Vizsla said the Oct. 7 table supersedes its earlier composite figures for that hole after verification.
"With all three drill holes from the 2026 AG infill program now complete, we are bringing together a significantly improved dataset to refine the geological model and ultimately, to work toward an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for Palmer." Vizsla Copper chair and chief executive Craig Parry said in the Oct. 7 release.
The Jan. 13, 2025 Palmer mineral resource statement covers both AG and Palmer deposits. It lists 4.77 million tonnes indicated at 3.5 per cent copper equivalent and 12.0 million tonnes inferred at 3.1 per cent.
Vizsla owns Palmer outright following its Dec. 4, 2025 acquisition. As of Oct. 8, its project page lists an active 12,250-metre drilling program.
Vizsla says it will fold the AG assays and core logging into the geological model before updating the mineral resource estimate.
Vizsla plans to continue drilling at lower elevation targets through the remainder of its 2026 field season.
