The Sandbox metaverse has partnered with cloud-based communications software company Agora to bring real-time social interaction to the metaverse.
The collaboration will give players in The Sandbox the opportunity to communicate using voice, video and chat.
The company offers a comprehensive suite of products that effortlessly combine 3D Spatial Audio, persistent text chat, and interactive live-streaming capabilities, all designed to be scalable. The Sandbox intends to utilize these features to nurture strong social connections among its players.
Combining elements of virtual real estate and an amusement park, The Sandbox fully embraces the concept of the metaverse, where various worlds and iconic characters come together to create a magical digital realm.
The Sandbox already has over 400 of high-rent residents, including big names like Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, Tony Hawk, The Walking Dead and Snoop Dogg, The Sandbox is dedicated to realizing its vision of empowering players to craft their unique experiences using both original content and beloved characters and settings.
