Rua Gold reports 10.5 g/t gold over 6.6m at Auld Creek
The New Zealand explorer reports a 3.6-metre true width and aims to update Auld Creek's resource estimate in the fourth quarter.

Rua Gold Inc. TSERUA OTCMKTSNZAUF said on Monday in a release that hole ACDDH127 at Auld Creek in New Zealand returned 6.6 metres grading 10.5 grams per tonne gold and 6.7 per cent antimony. The reported true width is 3.6 metres, and Rua plans to update Auld Creek's resource estimate in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Rua shares TSERUA rose 8.94 per cent to C$1.34 at 4 p.m. EDT on Monday in Toronto.
Hole ACDDH130 returned 6.3 metres grading 13.7 grams per tonne gold and 0.3 per cent antimony, according to the release's drill table. It starts 208.3 metres downhole and has an estimated true width of 2.5 metres.
Rua says drilling has confirmed the Fraternal structure hosting Auld Creek mineralization for more than 1,400 metres northward and intersected it beyond 500 metres depth. Four rigs remain at work ahead of the updated estimate, while the company targets an October 2026 application under New Zealand's Fast-track Approvals regime.
Within ACDDH127, a 0.3-metre section graded 43.6 grams per tonne gold and 33.3 per cent antimony. The full interval begins 359 metres downhole, according to the Oct. 5 assay table.
ACDDH130 contains a separate 0.3-metre section grading 69.2 grams per tonne gold. Rua also reported visible gold in drill core; the October release gives no new resource ounce count for these holes.
Another hole, ACDDH123A, returned 2.2 metres at 10.3 grams per tonne gold and 11.3 per cent antimony. Its estimated true width is 0.6 metres, compared with the downhole interval used in the assay summary.
ACDDH121 cut 11.7 metres at 4.1 grams per tonne gold and 0.4 per cent antimony. That section begins at 365.5 metres and has an estimated true width of 4.9 metres.
“With four rigs continuing to advance the resource, we are targeting an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in Q4 while remaining on track to submit our Fast-Track Approvals application in October,” chief executive Robert Eckford said in the Oct. 5 release.
Rua's Sept. 8 update counted 19,600 metres of resource drilling against a 19,000-metre target. It said assays for 18 holes were pending at that date; the Oct. 5 release lists seven holes but gives no new pending count.
The company says infill drilling shows mineralized shoots recurring at roughly 40- to 60-metre intervals at depth. Rua reports a conversion ratio from inferred to indicated resources exceeding 70 per cent, ahead of its planned revised estimate.
Hydrology, rock-strength, density and metallurgical work for the application and pre-feasibility study is largely complete, according to Rua's Oct. 5 release. The company targets publication of that study in December 2026.
Rua plans to submit its substantive Auld Creek application under New Zealand's Fast-track Approvals regime in October 2026.
