Rokeby Resources Limited (ASX: ICG) recently entered the antimony mining game through its acquisition of Stunalara Metals. The deal closed in April.
Now, the junior mining company will soon be heading to a conference in Queensland to show off a newly acquired project that came with the purchase while attempting to pull investors.
The Hurricane gold-antimony asset has a series of promising targets and recently yielded rock chip samples with favourable grades. A trio — containing 5.66, 6.49 and 6.53 per cent antimony (Sb) — were highlighted in a press release from Rokeby on Jul. 16.
In February, the junior showed off samples with far superior results, including rock clusters with 35 per cent Sb and 81.5 grams per tonne gold.
These assays from early 2025 are unprecedented for the project and worthy of attention among mining sector enthusiasts.

Rokeby’s drill program gets underway
A mineralized footprint spanning more than 70 metres has been delineated at the Bouncer prospect area where the latest samples were taken from. Additionally, Rokeby has expanded the known gold mineralization footprint of the broader property significantly with recent prospecting.
A 1,200-metre maiden drill campaign is now underway. It will focus on four out of 10 of the site’s prospect areas. Notably, holes will be relatively shallow at a depth of only 60 to 80 metres. Several veins with considerable mineralization have been identified.
Rokeby aims to intrigue stock traders with this inaugural initiative.
The Noosa Mining Investor Conference the company is heading to next week is a prominent event in the Australian resources sector. This year’s showcase will feature presentations from over 70 ASX-listed mining companies on commodities such as gold, uranium, nickel, rare earths, copper and lithium.
Antimony has been gaining serious steam over the past year and will surely be a more popular topic at the annual event this time around.
