Village Farms International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VFF) subsidiary Pure Sunfarms Corp. has launched its new brand SuperToast focused on “convenience and ready-to-go” products.
The company announced the new brand on Wednesday which will carry fresh ground flower and whole-gram pre-rolls. Cultivars include the hybrid flower Sgt. Pineapple, the sativa Citrus Abduction and the Triple Berry Supreme indica which come in 7-gram bag.
As for pre-rolls, the Hoagies is a new product that has two one-gram joints from different strains.
SuperToast is now available in British Columbia and will be available in Ontario and Alberta in the following weeks.
“Our family of brands is designed with the intention to meet the evolving needs and buying habits of consumers as they expand their cannabis usage occasions,” Pure Sunfarms CEO Mandesh Dosanjh said.
Dosanjh said that ground flower now represents 10 per cent of sales while pre-rolls represent 30 per cent. “As a flower-first company, we see the potential in these categories,” he said.
“Super Toast is a fresh and fun brand, designed specifically for those looking for convenient, grab-and-go products in the formats they want at a great price.”

Pure Sunfarms grows its cannabis at its facility in Delta, British Columbia and carries the brands Pure Sunfarms, The Original Fraser Valley Weed Co., Soar and Nowadays. It also provides cannabis to its affiliate ROSE LifeScience in Québec and is EU GMP certified to export product internationally.
Last May, the company announced it was taking its cannabis to Germany through a new partnership with IUVO Therapeutics GmbH.
In January it announced its Pink Kush, Jet Fuel Gelato and Black Cherry Punch cultivars were being shipped to Israel after signing an exclusive three-year agreement with Dr. Samuelov Importing and Marketing Ltd. which does business as Better Pharma.
Village Farms stock went up on Wednesday by 1.75 per cent to $0.61 on the Nasdaq Exchange.
