NevGold pulls up even more promising antimony grades from Nevada property

NevGold’s holes at Resurrection Ridge support advancing the project toward an initial gold-antimony Mineral Resource Estimate

NevGold Corp (CVE: NAU) (OTCMKTS: NAUFF) (FRA: 5E50) discovered even more high grade oxide gold-antimony drill results at its Limousine Butte Project in Nevada.

Announced on Tuesday, these results join the latest grouping of significant high grade results coming out of Nevada, seemingly by the week.

The company is continuing to unlock the gold-antimony potential of the project. The project is proving to be a promising prospect for further exploration and development in the silver state, which is well known as one of the world’s premier mining spots.

NevGold drilled holes at Resurrection Ridge with spacing that supports advancing the project toward an initial gold-antimony Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). To date, the company has released results from over 20 holes. Additionally, more than 30 holes have pending results from Resurrection Ridge and Cadillac Valley.

Meanwhile, metallurgical testwork has begun using a 100 kg bulk sample from NevGold’s core drilling and the Project area. Resurrection Ridge and Cadillac Valley show strong oxide gold-antimony mineralization across a large, open mineralized footprint.

Notably, all areas with gold-antimony potential are permitted and drill-ready under the Limo Butte Plan of Operations, approved last November.
Importantly, historical drilling revealed significant antimony (Sb) upside. Many intervals exceeded the 1 per cent Sb upper detection limit.

NevGold is now re-assaying these samples at American Assay Lab in Reno, Nevada.
Moreover, the company continues to re-evaluate historical drill data with a focus on both oxide gold and antimony potential.

NevGold re-analyzing historical drill data for antimony potential

NevGold will continue its active exploration program at Limo Butte throughout 2025. The team is currently evaluating the historical geological database with a focus on gold and antimony.

At the same time, they are re-analyzing historical drill data to better define the gold-antimony potential. Metallurgical testwork is also underway to support future project development. In addition, NevGold is planning to drill-test new gold-antimony targets as the next phase of exploration.

Key Highlights from its near-surface, oxide gold-antimony drillholes at Resurrection Ridge include:

    • LB018: 1.47 g/t AuEq over 74.7 meters (0.23 per cent Sb and 0.45 g/t Au), including 3.59 g/t AuEq over 18.2 meters (0.60 per cent Sb and 0.92 g/t Au), and also including 4.61 g/t AuEq over 6.0 meters (0.96 per cent Sb and 0.31 g/t Au)
    • LB030: 2.03 g/t AuEq over 12.2 meters (0.32per cent Sb and 0.58 g/t Au)
    • Other key results previously released at Resurrection Ridge include:
      • LIM-40: 4.07 g/t AuEq over 54.9 meters (0.64per cent Sb and 1.20 g/t Au), including 6.60 g/t AuEq* over 12.2 meters (+1per cent Sb and 2.12 g/t Au)
      • LIM-45: 3.02 g/t AuEqover 36.6 meters (0.40per cent Sb and 1.23 g/t Au), including 4.83 g/t AuEq over 12.2 meters (+1per cent Sb and 0.35 g/t Au)

NevGold calculated gold equivalents (AuEq) using assumed metal prices of USD$2,000 per ounce for gold and USD$35,000 per tonne for antimony, which reflects approximately a 30 per cent discount to current spot prices. The company also assumed metal recoveries of 85 per cent for gold and 70 per cent for antimony.

Metallurgical testwork progressing well

The company continues to see strong oxide gold-antimony results across a broad area at Limo Butte, said Brandon Bonifacio, NevGold’s CEO. NevGold’s focus now shifts to quickly advancing the project toward an initial gold-antimony Mineral Resource Estimate in 2025.

“With the strongly supported, upsized $6.0 million financing closed, we are fortunate to be in a position where we still have over 30 holes with results to release from our gold-antimony Limo Butte project, and we will also be commencing another phase of drilling in the coming weeks,” said Bonifacio.

The metallurgical testwork is progressing well and aims to define the best flowsheet for recovering both gold and antimony. This step is essential for advancing the project further. Bonifacio is certain that now is the right time to unlock Limo Butte’s gold-antimony potential. The United States is clearly committed to developing high-quality domestic mineral projects.

The United States urgently needs critical minerals like antimony to support defense, energy, and advanced technology sectors.

Antimony is essential for ammunition, flame retardants, and semiconductors, yet the U.S. relies heavily on imports, particularly from China. As geopolitical tensions rise, securing domestic supply has become a national priority.

In response, the U.S. has launched a production race to develop domestic sources and build resilient supply chains. Federal initiatives and funding programs now support exploration and processing projects across the country. This strategic shift aims to reduce reliance on foreign sources and strengthen America’s industrial and national security base.

Antimony often forms in the same places as gold, especially in certain types of underground deposits. These two minerals can appear together in the same rock. Because of this, companies sometimes find both while drilling for gold. As a result, gold projects like NevGold’s Limousine Butte can also help supply critical antimony.
