LaFleur Minerals reports 6.05 g/t gold over 8m at Bartec

The final 35 regional holes add targets outside the main Swanson deposit, but more drilling is needed to establish continuity.

LaFleur Minerals Inc. CNSXLFLR OTCMKTSLFLRF said Monday that hole SW-26-124 at the Bartec target on its Swanson property in Quebec returned 6.05 grams per tonne gold over eight metres. The intercept lies about 5 kilometres from the main Swanson deposit, giving LaFleur a follow-up target where continuity around the hole remains to be established.

LaFleur shares fell 5.71 per cent to C$0.33 at the Oct. 5 close, 4 p.m. EDT, on the Canadian Securities Exchange, according to the CNSXLFLR quote page.

The Bartec interval began 38 metres downhole and included three metres at 14.96 grams per tonne gold. LaFleur places the mineralized rock about 30 metres below surface and says it will drill along strike and down dip to test whether that interval continues.

At Jackson, hole SW-26-111 returned 1.45 grams per tonne gold over 7.70 metres. At Jolin, SW-26-103 returned 1.77 grams per tonne over 6.45 metres, but the company says further drilling is needed to establish the shape and continuity of the mineralized zones.

That Jolin hole intersected nine separate mineralized zones, while SW-26-104 intersected seven. LaFleur says additional drilling must determine their orientation and extent.

The Oct. 5 results cover the final 35 holes and 9,429 metres of LaFleur's regional drilling. The company reported the other 29 holes on Feb. 4, completing assay reporting for the 64-hole regional program.

The regional campaign covered 16,331 metres within LaFleur's broader 25,570.5-metre Swanson drilling program.

SW-26-124 was the first modern hole at Bartec since 1987, according to the release. Historical holes tested roughly 700 metres of the structure, but LaFleur says its qualified person has not verified their assays; the latest hole was designed to characterize the mineralization.

Another Jackson hole, SW-26-117, returned 0.60 grams per tonne over 44 metres. SW-26-113 returned 27.8 grams per tonne over one metre; those reported drill lengths do not establish the true width of the mineralized zones.

"Additional work will be required to establish the geometry and continuity of the mineralized zones both along strike and at depth," LaFleur said in its Oct. 5 release.

The regional program tested targets outside the main Swanson deposit. LaFleur's project page says it plans to use material from Swanson at its Beacon gold mill, about 60 kilometres away; the new regional results do not establish how much material those outlying targets could supply.

The same company site lists 160,300 indicated ounces and 66,800 inferred ounces in a 2026 resource estimate for the main Swanson deposit. Monday's regional assays concern targets outside that deposit and do not change those reported resource figures.

LaFleur says it aims to restart the Beacon gold mill by the end of 2026.
