enCore Energy expects final Upper Spring Creek permit by November 13
The South Texas satellite plant and first wellfield are built, with uranium extraction expected shortly after receipt of the final permit.

enCore Energy Corp. CVEEU NASDAQEU said on Tuesday it expects the final permit for its Upper Spring Creek uranium project on or before Nov. 13, ahead of prior guidance. The update narrows the fourth-quarter 2026 permit window enCore outlined in August, with its plant and first wellfield now built.
Shares rose 5.2 per cent to C$1.02 on the TSX Venture Exchange at the Oct. 26 close, stamped 4 p.m. EDT on the CVEEU quote page. That close preceded Tuesday's permit update.
Extraction is expected to begin shortly after receipt of the final permit, enCore said in its Oct. 27 post. The company did not give a separate extraction start date or identify the permit by name or number.
Upper Spring Creek is a wholly owned South Texas project designed to send uranium-loaded resin to enCore's Rosita Central Processing Plant. The company said in its June 4 construction release that the satellite plant would support that operation without a separate central processing facility at the wellfield.
The June announcement covered the first phase of plant construction, when installed flow capacity was 1,600 gallons per minute. The company then planned to double that capacity to 3,200 gallons per minute by the end of July; Tuesday's post confirmed construction but supplied no updated capacity figure.
"The Upper Spring Creek Project strengthens the Company's operational capabilities by providing uranium-loaded resin feed for our fully licensed Rosita Central Processing Plant," executive chairman William M. Sheriff said in the June 4 release.
The project had already received an earlier authorization. In its May 29, 2025 release, enCore said the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality had extended its existing radioactive materials licence to include Upper Spring Creek's Brown Area, allowing wellfield and satellite plant construction.
That licence announcement and Tuesday's expected final permit are separate milestones. The latest update gives management's expected timing for receipt of the remaining permit, rather than announcing its issuance.
The additional uranium feed would follow a period of lower extraction. In its August results release, enCore reported extraction of 131,274 pounds of U3O8 in the first half of 2026. That compared with 317,613 pounds in the corresponding 2025 period.
The August release said Upper Spring Creek's costs had been fully expensed in prior periods and the plant was ready for immediate operation once final permits arrived. Tuesday's post did not add a production-volume forecast for the new operation.
