Curaleaf relocates Gettysburg dispensary to York, keeping 18 Pennsylvania stores
The Oct. 15 move leaves Curaleaf's national store count at 189, with a York grand opening celebration scheduled for Oct. 23.

Patient service is scheduled to begin in York on Thursday as Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. TSECURA OTCMKTSCURLF relocates its Gettysburg dispensary, keeping its Pennsylvania network at 18 stores. The replacement location also leaves its nationwide total unchanged at 189 dispensaries.
The company's Oct. 15 release schedules the soft opening at 1513 N. George Street for 1 p.m., with a grand opening celebration on Oct. 23. It discloses no relocation cost, lease terms, expected store revenue or projected savings.
Curaleaf is a large international cannabis producer and retailer serving American medical and adult-use customers, with supply-chain operations across Europe, Canada and Australasia.
Curaleaf shares fell to C$12.18 in Toronto at 4:00 p.m. EDT on Oct. 14, according to TSECURA. That session preceded the relocation announcement, so the price does not measure investors' response to the move.
The York location changes the communities served by an existing store without increasing Curaleaf's reported retail count. The announcement provides no store-level earnings comparison between Gettysburg and York from which to estimate the relocation's contribution to group results.
Curaleaf says North George Street offers access to Interstate 83 and U.S. Route 30, with downtown York a short drive away. It identifies York, Springettsbury Township, North York and Manchester among the communities within reach of the new location. The release cites roughly 45,000 residents in York and more than 456,000 in York County.
"With Curaleaf York, we're putting quality products and real guidance within a short drive for patients across York County," Curaleaf chairman and chief executive Boris Jordan said in the release.
The announced assortment includes the company's Grassroots, FIND, Select, JAMS and Dark Heart brands, alongside its Select Briq 2 vape. The release describes an opening for medical patients and ties its promotional offers to valid medical cards.

The Department of Health describes Pennsylvania's program as providing access to medical marijuana for patients with a serious medical condition.

The state counted 438,727 active patient certifications and 196 operational dispensaries as of June 1. Those statewide figures describe the medical market into which Curaleaf is relocating; its Oct. 15 release gives no forecast for how many patients will use the York shop.
