Clever Leaves Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CLVR, CLVRW) has obtained permission to start selling its THC-dominant oral solution via a partnership with a local pot company in Peru.
On Thursday, the company announced the partnership with Anden Naturals to sell its Andenol 50 product manufactured in Colombia. Under the agreement, Clever Leaves will cultivate, manufacture and pack Anden Naturals’ finished product at its certified facilities in Colombia.
Andenol 50 is a 5 per cent THC-dominant oral solution and it is Anden Naturals’ first THC product to obtain sanitary registration as a finished product by the Peruvian health authorities.
Anden Naturals distributes medical cannabis in Peru through its own pharmacies. The initial shipment will be 1,000 units at the start of next year with a potential to reach up to 30,000 patients.

“The fact that Anden Naturals is the very first to obtain this sanitary registration in Peru is further proof that we are living up to our incredibly high standards and those of patients across the globe,” Clever Leaves CEO Andres Fajardo said.
Due to the products, higher THC content authorities have higher requirements when granting registration and there is greater control over its use, prescription and commercialization.
“With the addition of this high THC product, we can now offer a complete portfolio of products to our patients, offering the most robust and diversified portfolio in Peru,” Fajardo said.
“We are excited to have partnered up with Clever Leaves to produce Andenol 50, as we wanted to offer the highest possible quality to our patients. They have been a pleasure to work with and we are extremely happy with the attention to detail they have shown throughout the registration process.”
