Bizarre flying tech caught on camera in Pentagon’s latest UFO files

They’re calling this strange object ‘the floating brain’

The Pentagon just served up what many are calling the clearest footage of a UAP/UFO to date — a bizarre, blob-like shape with dangling parts that observers have dubbed the “floating brain.” This latest drop has enthusiasts buzzing and sceptics scratching their heads.

On Jul. 10, the Americans released their fourth batch of unidentified aerial phenomena files under President Trump’s executive order. The tranche includes 14 documents, 19 videos, four audio files and three images from the Pentagon, NASA, CIA, FBI and Department of Energy.

Public reaction has been a mix of excitement and calls for greater transparency. These files add new and novel visuals to ongoing debates about this unexplainable activity.

The standout floating brain video comes from a 2020 encounter over the Atlantic Ocean. It shows a dark, maroonish object roughly 12 to 15 feet tall that somewhat resembles a deformed balloon or jellyfish. AI-enhanced versions of similar footage have gone viral, fuelling online speculation. Pentagon analysts remain baffled by the peculiar craft.

Other files in the batch have drawn equal attention. One details a 2015 incident near the Pantex nuclear weapons plant in Texas, where security officers chased a silent, diamond-shaped object about four feet tall with no visible propulsion. The facility went into lockdown as the object drifted northward at low speed.

This sighting joins a pattern of UAP activity near nuclear sites worldwide, prompting questions about whether intelligent observers monitor Earth’s most dangerous weapons to prevent self-destruction. Some experts and witnesses believe exactly that.

The release of these new files follows the 2025 documentary The Age of Disclosure, which features testimony from dozens of government, military and intelligence insiders. Many view the film as the closest the U.S. government has come to acknowledging non-human intelligence and long-standing efforts to understand or reverse-engineer such technology.

“We’ve had repeated instances of something operating in the airspace over restricted nuclear facilities,” said Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, in the film, “and it’s not ours.

As these revelations surface, the notion of life beyond Earth is gaining wider acceptance among the public. This development also arrives as famed actor James Franco has been sharing alleged security footage of an alien-like figure at his home, complete with claims that “this is real” and what appears to be a very serious face.

The universe is feeling a little bit less lonely and more mysterious all the time.
