Hong Kong-founded sleep technology creator NEURO FLOW LABS just launched a unique new sleep wearable for insomnia treatment on Kickstarter.
The Vyntalix Deep Sleep Neurostimulator works its magic by harnessing cervical transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (ct-VNS) — a means of invigorating the vagus nerve with electrodes.
This device is relatively novel in comparison to the various sleep tech headbands out there as it is designed to be worn on your neck. However, there is one similar device made by the Lithuanian technology creator Pulsetto, but it is more expensive and doesn’t have one of Vynatlix’s capabilities.
NEURO’s device is “complemented by 650-nanometer laser-targeted irradiation of the carotid artery,” that, “simultaneously promotes metabolism and improves blood microcirculation,” as specified by the company.
This stimulates cellular metabolism and reduces blood viscosity to help prevent clots, NEURO has explained.
Pulsetto’s neck tech lacks the infrared laser irradiation function.

It has 15 levels of intensity to fulfill the user’s specific needs that are represented by different colours of lights, a press release highlighted on Tuesday.
The vagus nerve plays a major role in regulating key body functions like heart rate, digestion, speech, breathing and immune responses. It is the body’s longest cranial nerve, extending from the brainstem to the abdomen.
Vagus nerve stimulation can also be used to treat conditions such as epilepsy, depression and chronic pain.
“Say goodbye to sleeping pills and invasive treatments,” NEURO says. “Using gentle, non-invasive ct-VNS stimulation, this device activates the vagus nerve to calm an overactive sympathetic system, restoring nervous system balance and targeting insomnia and anxiety at the root.”
The company currently has 119 backers and has already surpassed its fundraising goal immensely.
“It regulates the neural circuits in the brain that help with sleep, emotions and cognition,” a recent YouTube video from the popular creator 911 Studios described.
Research and development of the US$149-dollar gadget started in early 2023. It can function for up to one week on a single charge.
