Element Nutritional Sciences (CSE:ELMT) inked a distribution agreement with OCSB Emerging Brands Group (OCS Brands) that will have OCS Brands distribute Rejuvenate across the United-States-based convenience services channel.

What OCS does is connect retailers in the convenience services channel with brands. Its convenience services network includes approximately 12,000 vending, micro-market, pantry and other convenience services, as well as travel, specialty retail and hospitality clients.

“With Rejuvenate(TM) firmly established in the U.S. pharmacy channel and a rapidly scaling e-commerce presence, we are continuously looking to partner with operators that can bring Rejuvenate(TM) to new consumers, especially those seeking functional benefits. OCS Brands distributes a roster of brands that align with our mission to help people live happier and healthier lives. This is our first step in executing our single serve strategy in the U.S. market to give consumers greater access to Rejuvenate(TM). This partnership also provides a greenfield opportunity for Rejuvenate(TM) in the US$31 billion U.S. convenience services industry,” said Stuart Lowther, CEO.

Element is a research driven Canadian nutraceutical company working in the development of patented and science-based products from the global consumer packaged goods market, with a portfolio focused on men and women over 50.

OCS Brands brings access to over 75,000 distribution points and is led by a team with over a century in expertise from all facets of the value chain in the convenience services vertical.

“We are thrilled to partner with Element in launching their Rejuvenate(TM) brand into the convenience services channel. Today’s buyer is looking for brands to meet a specific purpose when it comes to health and wellness. The science behind Rejuvenate goes well beyond traditional protein drinks which will bring higher value sales to our operator partners,” said Si Rawls, COO of OCSB.

The company also filed and received a receipt for a final short form based shelf prospectus from the regulatory authorities in all the provinces and territories its involved in in Canada. The prospectus will allow the company to offer a CAD$28,000,000 of common shares, warrants, subscription receipts and units during the 25-month period that it’s effective.

A prospectus is a formal document required by various securities commissions to provide details about an investment offering to the public.
